Chubb chairman and CEO Evan Greenberg has slammed post-M&A litigation as a “drive-by shooting” by lawyers who want a quick payout.

Speaking to CNBC on Wednesday, Greenberg criticised the scale of litigation following M&A transactions, highlighting that 80 percent of such deals now lead to lawsuits.
