Barry losses expected to be ‘modest’: analysts

Hurricane Barry will cause moderate losses to insurers that will be well within carriers allocated third quarter catastrophe budgets, analysts believe.

Wells Fargo analyst Elyse Greenspan said carriers are not anticipating large losses from the first named storm of the 2019 North Atlantic hurricane season.
