APCIA backs workers’ compensation reform bill in Senate

The American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA), a trade body, has backed a bill in the US Senate to reform the workers’ compensation system in the US.

The Coordination of Medicare Payments and Workers’ Compensation Act has been proposed by a bipartisan pairing of Maryland Senator Ben Cardin, a Democrat, and Ohio Senator Rob Portman, a Republican.
