Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance made the latest in a series of professional and financial lines hires from AIG with the appointment of Keith Freid as product line officer for private and non-profit management liability insurance.

Freid has had a 30-year career at AIG across underwriting and claims and is a former chief underwriting officer and product chief for private company and non-profit entity executive liability coverage.
