Everest Insurance has appointed Michael Cipolla to lead its excess and surplus lines (E&S) casualty unit.

In the new role, the underwriter will be responsible for growing the carrier’s presence in the market segment. He is based in the company’s Atlanta office and reports to Michael Finnegan, head of E&S casualty.
