Texan insurance price comparison site The Zebra has raised $150mn at a $1bn valuation, as the start-up becomes the latest InsurTech to obtain a unicorn valuation.

The round was led by UK venture investor Hedosophia, TechCrunch reported, with Weatherford Capital and Accel also contributing to the Series D raise.
