Specialty managing general agency Paragon Insurance Holdings has appointed Christian Phillips as president of its newly created contingency platform.

Phillips, who has more than 25 years’ industry experience, was previously a contingency underwriter at Beazley. Prior to that, he worked at HCC Insurance.
