Skyward Specialty Insurance Group has hired a pair of healthcare professional liability underwriters, in a move that follows that arrival of QBE executive John Burkhart as specialty lines president in January.

April Gilcreast and Chantelle Burton join Skywards from Chubb and Everest Insurance respectively

The carrier, formerly known as Houston International Insurance Group, also recently hired Brenda Craig from OneBeacon, to lead its healthcare practice.
