'In the black’ Corant reports revenue of $52.4mn, ‘small’ profit in Q1

Corant has reported record revenues of $52.4mn for Q1 as the broking unit turned a small profit, according to parent BGC Partners.

The broking business, which comprises Ed, Besso and Piiq, said Q1 revenue was up by 17% year on year on strong growth across all business lines.
