Florida Senate to vote on returned insurance reform bill today

Florida State Capitol in Tallahassee

Florida’s Senate will vote on an amended insurance reform bill today after the House of Representatives passed the legislation on Wednesday, adding in measures targeted against roof repair fraud, but altering original proposals for reform on legal fee payouts.

Some 74 representatives voted for the Senate Bill 76, with 43 against. If the Senate signs it off, it will then be put to the state’s governor.
