Assurant CEO Colberg to retire, with insider named as successor

Assurant president and CEO Alan Colberg is set to retire at year-end, the warranties provider said.

Insider Keith Demmings has been appointed president, effective immediately, and will succeed Colberg as CEO from January 2022.

Most recently, Demmings has managed Assurant’s largest business segment, global lifestyle, a role he has held for the last five years.
