AIG’s chief investment officer Douglas Dachille is leaving the company, the insurance giant said on Wednesday afternoon.

Dachille has long led AIG’s investment function, having first joined the company in 2015 as part of the acquisition of First Principles, a $10bn bond fund he founded in 2003.
