Hippo has announced a raft of new leadership appointments, with former Weston Insurance CFO Rich Primerano becoming chief risk officer and Chubb’s Mike Stienstra joining as chief actuary, in a buildout of the InsurTech’s top team.

Primerano joins another Florida homeowners market veteran at Hippo, former Tower Hill CEO Tim Bienek, who has been named as chief insurance strategy officer, with a mandate to grow the InsurTech profitably.
