Axa XL Insurance has appointed Rafael Docavo-Malvezzi as global CUO for political risk, credit and bond (PRCB) and Lian Phua as head for PRCB, Americas, as it continues to bolster its political teams with leadership roles.

Docavo-Malvezzi, based in New York, will report to Stephen Ashwell, GCUO for specialty risks.

Overseeing global governance, underwriting guidelines and pricing standards across PRCB products, he will also lead product development, as well as client and broker engagement.
