Enstar strikes $880mn share buyback with Hillhouse at 18% discount

Legacy heavyweight Enstar is to buy out long-time Chinese shareholder Hillhouse Capital in a deal that looks set to drive significant accretion of book value per share.

The company disclosed that it has signed a deal to repurchase Hillhouse's 16.9% stake in Enstar for $879mn. Each share will be bought back for $234.52,
