Aspen appoints Aberdeen’s Mathieson to replace Astwood as CIO

Aspen Insurance has appointed Aileen Mathieson as group chief investment officer following the retirement of Bryan Astwood.

Mathieson, who will be based in London and starts on 15 November, will join Aspen’s group executive committee.

She joins from Aberdeen Standard Investments, where she was global head of insurance.
