Hub acquires sports-focused Risk Point Consulting

Hub International on Friday said it acquired Risk Point Consulting, a Marietta, Georgia-based firm specializing in professional sports and college athletics contractual bonus coverage and over-redemption insurance.

Risk Point Consulting has managed more than $1bn in risk exposure over the last 15 years, Hub said.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
