Marsh McLennan storms to 13% organic growth in second quarter

Marsh McLennan reported its strongest underlying growth for two decades in the second quarter at 13%, with double-digit organic growth at both Marsh and Guy Carpenter.

The broking giant recorded adjusted operating income of $1.2bn in the period, up 24% on the prior-year quarter, and adjusted earnings per share of $1.75,
