Amidst rising competition in the property market, CNA CEO Dino Robusto signaled to analysts on Monday that pricing in the segment had become much more appealing and the company was looking to expand its presence in the line.

The major commercial lines carrier disclosed earlier on Monday that it had purchased a new property quota share treaty at June 1, which lowered net written premiums for the quarter by $122mn.
