UFG will look to further trim commercial auto exposure: CEO Ramlo

United Fire Group has scaled back its commercial auto segment since last year as part of a renewed portfolio diversification strategy, with the line of business currently making up around 25% of its overall book.

But the Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based company will continue nonrenewing underperforming accounts and reducing the number of exposure units to further decrease the category below 20% of its books.
