HCI’s InsurTech subsidiary TypTap Insurance Group has formalized its plans to go public, officially submitting on Thursday evening a draft registration statement with the SEC ahead of a potential listing.

HCI said in a statement on Thursday it had not yet determined the size and price range for the proposed offering and that it could not assure that an IPO will be completed.
