Truist banking and insurance chief retires after 36-year career at firm

Head of banking and insurance at Truist, Chris Henson, will retire at the end of September, the company has said.

Henson, who served for 36 years at Truist, has been in his current role with the company since 2019 when Truist Financial Corporation was created through the merger of BB&T Corporation and SunTrust Banks.
