Whenever I open my LinkedIn feed, there seems to be an animated discussion on new or existing InsurTechs. This trend has increased to the point that I rarely see much discussion focusing on legacy insurance companies.

Reading some of this stuff, you get the impression the new class of companies has discovered the Ark of the Covenant (sorry, Indiana Jones), which will help them clear any impediments to building a profitable book of business.
