Loss ratio for personal standalone cyber policies jumped 12.9 points in 2020: AM Best

Personal cyber package policies in force increased 3.4% in 2020 to almost 20 million while standalone policies decreased 3.7% to 303,000, according to AM Best.

ID theft insurance has increased over the years and is turning into a “must have” option, the agency reported, and insurers are offering protection as part of a package policy.
