A group representing the survivors of sexual assault connected to the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) has rejected the latest settlement agreement reached between the BSA and The Hartford.

In a statement on Wednesday morning, the Tort Claimants’ Committee (TCC), formed as part of the BSA’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy, called Tuesday’s $787mn pact with The Hartford and a separate $250mn settlement with the Mormon Church “grossly unfair”.
