FedNat has a “big job” to do to maintain its A-exceptional rating from Demotech, the insurer’s board and strategic review committee (SRC) chairman Bruce Simberg has said.

This comes in a year which has so far continued the previous year’s string of catastrophe losses, adding to “significant” financial challenges already facing the company at the end of 2020.
