Insurance broker and consultant NFP has acquired Thompson Flanagan as part of its plan to expand its operations in the US central region.

Chicago-headquartered broker Thompson Flanagan provides its services to evaluate risk to law and private equity firms.

Terms of the transaction, which closed on August 1, were not disclosed.
