New litigated claims for Florida P&C insurers dropped by 9% to 3,909 in September, CaseGlide said, reflecting the impact of a new law to protect homeowners and prevent abuse of claims in the state.

The litigation systems vendor said its data showed that 13 of the 17 largest Florida carriers recorded a decline in litigated claims.
