M&A insurance-specialist MGA Vale Insurance Partners has agreed to be acquired by private equity fund Flexpoint Ford, this publication can reveal.

Terms of the transaction were not immediately available.

The Vale acquisition is the latest in a flurry of deal-making for the Chicago-based private equity house, which took a stake in privately held reinsurance broker TigerRisk Partners last year.
