McGriff's former CEO Rick Ulmer has filed a motion against the company’s counterclaim in a Florida court, in a case that attempts to block him from taking up a new position at Alliant Underwriting Solutions (AUS).

In the motion, Ulmer argued that in the counterclaim, McGriff provided a detailed description of his former position as the firm’s CEO, where it acknowledged that he oversaw all aspects of its retail insurance business in the US.
