Bermudian insurer James River expects to report a net loss of between $23mn and $26mn in Q3 and a combined ratio of 120%-125% for the quarter, according to a preliminary results update published today.
The result is inclusive of pre-tax net losses of $5mn relating to Hurricane Ida, additional reinstatement premiums of $8.1mn
