Chubb to 'beef up’ recruitment amid ‘modestly lower’ retention rates: CEO Greenberg

Chubb CEO Evan Greenberg became the latest executive to comment on employee turnover, telling investment analysts on Wednesday that retention levels at the carrier were down, as he called the recruiting market “difficult” and attributed the turnover in part to the pandemic.

Speaking on the company’s third quarter-earning call, Greenberg was responding to a question that referenced a report from the Federal Reserve Bank of St Louis earlier this month, which found three million retirements tied to the pandemic.
