The nationwide demand for nurses is helping to drive healthcare wages higher, adding an element to medical cost inflation, Amerisafe CEO G. Janelle Frost said.

“We're seeing some slight increases in costs, particularly as we plan long-term care for injured workers,” Frost said during the company’s 3Q conference call.
