NFP buys Connecticut brokerage IPG in move to expand in Northeast

Insurance broker and consultant NFP on Wednesday said it acquired Connecticut-based Insurance Provider Group (IPG) as part of its effort to expand in the Northeast.

Terms of the deal, which closed on October 6, were not disclosed.

IPG provides commercial brokerage services primarily to small and medium-sized businesses.
