Sompo International has filed an amended complaint in the case where it is accusing Westfield Insurance of improperly hiring some former excess casualty and professional lines senior executives.

Sompo alleges that the mass hiring “was accomplished through breaches of fiduciary duty” and contracts, and in the new lawsuit the carrier included a demand for a trial by jury.
