Specialty underwriter RLI promoted Brian Schick and Thomas Ward as new vice presidents for its surety and risk management practices, respectively.

Schick, who joined the Illinois-based firm in 2011, will oversee the contract, miscellaneous and commercial surety businesses, effective immediately.
