Chubb and its subsidiaries have reached an $800mn agreement in principle to settle outstanding sexual harassment claims connected to the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) bankruptcy case.

Upon the agreement’s approval and payment, Century Indemnity Company and other Chubb units will obtain a broad release from BSA-related abuse claims.
