Axa XL said it promoted Maria Duhart to chief underwriting officer for its specialty insurance business in the Americas.

Duhart will report to Donna Nadeau, chief underwriting officer for the Americas, and be responsible for the multi-line underwriting management of Axa XL’s collective specialty insurance lines.
