The co-founder of Columbus, Ohio-based auto InsurTech Root, Dan Manges, has left the company, roughly six months after stepping down from his role as chief technology officer (CTO), Root disclosed in a securities filing.

In June, Root announced Manges was stepping down as CTO as part of a sweeping array of management changes that included bringing aboard former Evernote CTO Anirban Kundu to the same post.
