Fronting carrier Obsidian Insurance has agreed to back KKR-owned managing general agency Integrated Specialty Coverages’ (ISC) contractors general liability program, Obsidian announced on Tuesday.

Core customers for ISC’s program are small general contractors and artisan contractors that because of size or hazard class are unable to secure coverage in the admitted market, the statement said.
