Nearly one-third of SMEs faced D&O claim over past two years: Coalition

Just over a third (36%) of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with D&O coverage have been hit with a claim over the past two years compared with 18% of those with employment practices liability (EPL) coverage, according to a report from MGA Coalition.

The average cost of these claims is $120,590 for SMEs with D&O coverage, while for SMEs with EPL coverage the average loss is much lower, at $68,867.
