Technical Risk Underwriters (TRU), the construction-focused MGA owned by Ryan Specialty Group, has promoted its CUO Chris Burns to president.

Burns has been with the company since its launch in late 2010 and is taking over in the post previously held by Katie Davies, who is retaining the CEO title.
