Topsail Re raises $50mn in equity financing

Topsail Re has raised $50mn in equity financing from its existing shareholders, the company announced.

The Cayman-based reinsurer said it will use the proceeds to support its continued growth, adding that Topsail Re currently underwrites more than $500m of property and casualty reinsurance business.
