AM Best gives Trean’s Benchmark Specialty ‘A’ FSR

AM Best has assigned a financial strength rating of A and a long-term issuer credit rating of "a" to Trean Insurance’s excess and surplus (E&S) lines business Benchmark Specialty Insurance.

The ratings agency also gave the company a stable credit rating outlook.

AM Best said its rating reflects Benchmark Specialty’s balance sheet strength, adequate operating performance, limited business profile and appropriate enterprise risk management.
