Argo CEO Kevin Rehnberg attributed more than half of the company’s surprise 2021 reserve charge to construction defect claims in Argo’s US operations in 2017 and prior. 

The executive added that many of those businesses have been discontinued or “significantly remediated,” speaking on the firm’s Q4 earnings call.
