New York-headquartered fronting carrier Obsidian Insurance has promoted Kim Ho Lo to chief actuary.

The executive will continue reporting to CEO William Jewett, based in New York.

Prior to his promotion, Lo served as lead actuary since June 2020 following a one-year stint at Blackboard Insurance working as a pricing actuary.
