AM Best downgrades Louisiana Farm Bureau Mutual FSR to A- from A

AM Best on Tuesday downgraded the financial strength rating (FSR) of Louisiana Farm Bureau Mutual to A- from A, as the agency’s assessment of the carrier’s operating performance changed to “adequate” from “strong”.

The ratings agency also cut Louisiana Farm Bureau’s long-term issuer credit rating to A- from A but maintained the “stable” outlook for the ratings.
