Marsh McLennan takes $52mn non-cash Russia exit charge

Marsh McLennan disclosed it has taken a $52mn non-cash charge related to its withdrawal from Russia, according to the broker’s Q1 2022 report.

The firm reported the write-off with a $40mn charge from its risk and insurance services unit, and a $12mn charge from its consulting division, both associated with Marsh’s exit from Russia.
