Argo’s board is considering a potential sale as it announced an “exploration of strategic alternatives”, which will also consider a merger or other strategic transaction.

The embattled Bermudian business has faced mounting pressure to sell, with activist investor Ron Bobman having called for a sale of the company and proposed to join the board.
