Outspoken Argo activist investor Ron Bobman has accused the insurer’s board of acting “too slowly” after it bowed to pressure today and issued an announcement that it was considering a potential sale.

In a statement to this publication, Bobman said: “The board has repeatedly acted too slowly, too little and/or too late.
